My last holiday was in summer. I went to Barcelona with my family because we had some friends there. We went by train and it was the first time for my little sister. Before we left home, we had lots of things to put in our luggage....
We stayed there for a week, but the weather wasn't very good: some sunny days, but some rainy and cold days also. Every day we did something fun. First of all my father and I went to the beach and we had a bath in the sea, while my mum went to the swimming pool with my sister. Later we played volleyball and built sandcastles.
One day we visited a museum. It was very interesting, and I learned a lot of things. Another day we went to a park and we had a picnic. We also went shopping and we bought some souvenirs.
In the afternoons we relaxed at the hotel and talked about the morning. At night we ate dinner in restaurants. Sometimes we had seafood, but my favourite dishes were pizza and fish and chips. My parents drank wine, my sister drank water and I had some Coke. The best moment of the day was dessert because it was ice cream.
We walked a lot around the city and we met my friends at the weekend. We had a great time. I would love to go back again next year.
